Larache and the Sea

Synopsis

"Larache and the Sea" is a cinematic portrait of Larache, the town of my origins, focusing on the visceral and dynamic relationship between its inhabitants and the Atlantic Ocean, often fierce and ever-alive. From the fishermen who brave its waves to the people who simply contemplate its vastness, or the children playing on its shores, the piece weaves a tapestry of moments that reveal how the sea shapes their livelihood, culture, and identity. It's a quest for visual poetry in the everyday, a tribute to that intrinsic and profoundly human connection.
