Dowar Msouar
Synopsis
Through an observational lens, "Dowar Msouar" follows the daily life of a shepherd family in the vast, semi-desert plains of the Atlas Mountains, in the small village (dowar) that gives the film its name, inhabited by barely thirty souls. The film immerses itself in their intimate relationship with an environment that is both a source of sustenance and a constant challenge. It seeks to capture the resilience, dignity, and deep ancestral connection this community maintains with the land, showcasing the austere beauty of the landscape and the strength of the human spirit that inhabits it.
